Organise with Spaces
Kerio Workspace allows you to easily organise and share your documents and files online. First, create a Space. Within this space, you can create any number of Pages to hold content you'd like to share, including uploaded files and folders. It's all nicely organised in an easy-to-use tree structure.
Create and Edit Pages
Kerio Workspace allows you to easily design colorful multi-column documents with:
- Text Blocks: great for drafting and sharing text documents quickly.
- File Libraries: perfect for sharing files without email attachments.
- Images: useful for displaying artwork and collecting feedback.
- Mashups: for embedding content from YouTube, GoogleMaps, etc.
- Link Lists: an easy way to link to other Pages or websites.
- Videos: great for displaying tutorials, presentations, etc.
Create new Pages or duplicate existing ones easily. Even if you decide to duplicate the entire page including any uploaded files, Kerio Workspace is smart enough not to duplicate those files on the server.
Share Files With Drag & Drop
Uploading files to a Page or Folder is easy. Just drag and drop. Replacing existing files will automatically create a version history, so you can revert to an older version any time.
Edit Shared Files Online
Uploaded files can be edited by any authorised team member. The "Edit on Desktop" feature allows team members to edit files with their native desktop applications and avoid having to download, save, and re-upload files to the server. While one team member is making changes to a file with this feature, Kerio Workspace will warn anyone else who attempts to do the same. It doesn't get much easier.
Preview Uploaded Files Online
You can preview an uploaded document right in the browser. No need to download and save a file just to inspect its content.
Space, Page, and File Histories
Each Space, Page, and File on Kerio Workspace retains a detailed history, making it easy to track progress of any project. Aside from the history of Comments made by the team, you can also view the history of actions taken.
Files also retain a version history when they're uploaded to Kerio Workspace. Even when you choose to upload a new version of an existing file, you can still access the previous version any time to make sure no important content is overwritten and lost.
Share Comments With the Team
Comments organises a social media communication style in a project-oriented environment. Comment on a Space, a Page, or an uploaded file to share progress or feedback with its followers. Refer back to the Space or Page any time to see a full history of Comments from the team.
View others' Comments by visiting a particular Space or Page to see its historical record of Comments. You can also add important Spaces or Pages to your Favorites to follow their recent Comments in your scrolling News Feed or email inbox. One click on any Comment will take you directly to the source.
Favorites and Your News Feed
Adding a Space or Page to your Favorites makes it not only easier to access, but also easier to monitor Comments made within them.
Your News Feed is a collection of the most recent Comments made on any Space or Page in your Favorites. Click on any Comment to be taken directly to the associated Space, Page, or file your team is talking about.
Follow Links to Pages and Files
Pages and individual files can be linked to so you can easily send your team to your documents instead of the other way around.
Find Content With the Search Tool
With virtually any desktop or mobile browser, you can locate a file with a simple search. Everything in Kerio Workspace is indexed, including text inside your files, so the search tool will help you find exactly what you're looking for quickly.
Set Sharing Permissions
Kerio Workspace takes content security seriously. For each Space and Page, you have the opportunity to select individual Users or Groups and grant them specific access rights. Easily allow a User or Group to read, edit, or administer the page with just a few clicks.
Managing Sharing rights for individual Pages is easy. Set Sharing rights unique to a Page, or have it inherit Sharing rights from its parent Space anytime.
Smartphone Access
Because Kerio Workspace is accessed through any standard web browser, smartphones and tablets are prime candidates for use. But it's the custom-designed mobile interface that excites the smartphone power-user crowd.
Built on the Sencha Touch framework, the mobile interface lets you navigate through Spaces with more native controls, display Pages with full color and layout,
switch between Page columns using a carousel control, do a full text search, preview uploaded files, and display the team's recent Comments in your News Feed.
Administrator Options
The web-based administration interface makes configuring and maintaining Kerio Workspace easy.
